Protecting your school from the insidious dangers of gossip and why nothing gets done until a culture of 'see it say it" prevails
Limited Capacity seats available

Protecting your school from the insidious dangers of gossip and why nothing gets done until a culture of 'see it say it" prevails.
“My biggest mistake was not learning quickly from my mistakes. I chose persistence over reflection.”
This workshop will challenge our preparedness to receive feedback and grow from it. What are the conditions a community needs to build in order to allow this to become ‘the way we do it here’. Can we really create a community of learners that are prepared to ‘say it when they see it” and hear it when somebody else does?

What’s the role of empathy in a coaching relationship?
Limited Capacity seats available

As coaching leaders, how vulnerable are we prepared to be in order to develop empathy for everyone in our community. Are we prepared to take off our own shoes to really walk in those of another?
NBCS recognises the critical importance of having everyone in its community understand its DNA. This session will share a series of activities, ideas and resources which we use to ‘onboard’ people into our community, building relationship and developing agency to ensure that mentoring and coaching are an expected part of the experience of belonging to our school.

How curiosity allows for everybody to approach difficult conversations
Limited Capacity seats available

How curiosity allows for everybody to approach difficult conversations.
This session will unpack the phrase, “Do you see what I see?” in relation to building safe relationships and culture to enable coaching and mentoring to happen spontaneously. We will unpack the impact that valuing curiosity as a first response has made on our community at every level. NBCS invites courageous authenticity and vulnerability that leads to real change.
