Taroona Primary School is one of the 50 recipients of the first round of Digital Literacies Schools Grants. At the heart of the grant project is our school’s commitment to supporting a team of enthusiastic teacher leaders who have volunteered as ‘first-wave’ digital literacy coaches for the initial 18 months of implementation of the new Digital Technologies curriculum. This session uses video narratives to share our coaches demonstrating the behind-the-scene discussions and planning with their colleagues as they work together to strengthen digital integration across all areas of the curriculum. The snapshots include the processes of backward planning, conversations to better understand pedagogies to support new learning in digital technologies, and co-teaching of integrated STEM / digital technologies in classrooms. Teachers, coaches, students and leaders also share reflections of their learning throughout the process. Snaphot Video is availble at https://vimeo.com/285754624
