Building upon the foundations from session 1 (Thursday 12.10pm) leaders will now explore the key considerations in monitoring and evaluating the implementation of a school wide teacher performance and development framework in the context of a high performing school. Building sustainable communities of learning which foster teacher agency of their own learning and development.
Key considerations will be the importance of setting the success criteria for the framework’s evaluation to firstly measure impact on student learning outcomes and secondly, measure collective responsibility whereby teacher agency is centre to fostering a culture of performance and development.
By the end of sessions 1 and 2 leaders will have a greater understanding of the need for ensuring aligned and focused professional learning that enables the school community to ensure that there is a comprehensive school wide strategic focused performance and development culture aligned to school improvement plans.
