Immersing students in rich language focussed activities is a key aspect of successful literacy learning, particularly in the early years. Digital technology provides the opportunity for children to develop their language skills as they listen to and engage with literature, as well as tell their own stories. This workshop will present and discuss a number of apps that provide a range of experiences supporting literacy learning, including storytelling, multilingual resources and interactive narratives.
